One-to-One Evangelism Workshop
This past weekend, Kingdom Now Ministries had the joy of hosting our very first one-to-one evangelism workshop, and what an incredible day it was! We gathered 12 people from seven different churches—including our team—and we were so encouraged to see the unity of believers coming together for the same mission: to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. From the very start, there was a tangible sense of the Holy Spirit’s presence and fire in the room. Throughout the day, He moved powerfully—not just in teaching and equipping, but in healing, in words of knowledge, and in salvation.
Why One-to-One Evangelism?
We began by exploring why one-to-one evangelism is so vital in this hour. Jesus never waited for the lost to come to Him—He went out to meet them, to sit with them, to speak life into them. In the same way, we are called not to stay within the four walls of the church, but to go out and share the good news with those who may never otherwise hear.
Training with “Jesus at the Door”
We then introduced Jesus at the Door, a powerful evangelism tool created by Scott McNamara. It’s a simple but effective way of leading people into conversations about faith and ultimately into relationship with Jesus. Our team trained and equipped everyone in how to use it practically—and already we’re hearing stories of immediate fruit.
Healing the Sick
The next session focused on healing the sick. We not only taught biblically why and how healing is part of the gospel today, but also demonstrated it. Right there in the workshop, God restored someone’s back! Faith rose in the room, and people left knowing that God still heals through His people when we step out in obedience.
Words of Knowledge
We also taught on words of knowledge, helping people understand how the Holy Spirit gives specific revelation to reach others. During this time, one participant received a word about the very location a team was meant to go on outreach—the Bell Hotel. This seemed too obvious as this was where the workshops were being held. Sure enough, when the team walked into the Bell courtyard, they encountered three young people in their twenties. I personally had the privilege of leading all three—a young woman and two brothers—to Jesus right there at the Bell. They gave their lives to Christ and left with follow-up details so we could help them on their new journey. Even beyond the outreach, one participant went home and shared the Jesus at the Door card with their partner, who immediately accepted Jesus and decided to follow Him. Truly, the harvest is ready!
Stories of Boldness
One of the most powerful parts of the day was seeing people overcome fear and step out for the very first time. A woman who had never been out on the streets before shared the gospel with a Muslim man—an incredible moment of courage and obedience. Another team met people who had drifted away from church but were stirred to consider returning. Several expressed genuine interest in reconnecting with local churches and a real recommitment to Jesus, as they prayed with the teams.
A Prophetic Beginning
The fact that we had 12 participants wasn’t lost on us. Just as Jesus chose 12 disciples who went on to change the world, we believe God is prophetically speaking over Kingdom Now Ministries. This small beginning carries within it the potential for national and even international impact as we continue to train and equip the church for evangelism, healing, and deliverance.
A Day Marked by the Spirit
All throughout the workshop, people testified of physical manifestations of the Spirit and a deep intensity of His presence. It was not just about learning principles—it was about encountering the fire of God, being filled afresh, and stepping into boldness. We left the day with hearts burning and eyes lifted, knowing this is only the beginning. The gospel is the power of God for salvation, and as Kingdom Now Ministries continues to equip the body of Christ, we believe the UK and the nations will be impacted.
