KINGDOM NOW WORKSHOP #2 — RADICAL FAITH IN THE RAIN
A few weekends ago, we held our second Kingdom Now Workshop, and what a weekend it was. Not only did we see a larger number of people book in compared to Workshop #1, but the hunger, expectation and faith in the room were tangible from the moment we started. Our aim was simple:
Teach believers to minister like Jesus — from a place of compassion, empowered by the Holy Spirit, bringing healing and the good news of the Kingdom.
Even though the outreach portion of the day was met with pouring rain, the team pushed through with joy. Most of us were drenched, but the encounters, the courage, and the breakthroughs God released made it one of our most memorable workshops yet.
Being renewed by the transforming of our thinking around healing.
THE HEART OF THE TEACHING — JEHOVAH RAPHA, THE GOD WHO HEALS
One of the core truths we taught was that God reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha — “The Lord who heals” (Exodus 15:26). Healing is not simply something God does; it is part of who He is.
And if Jesus is “the exact representation of the Father” (Hebrews 1:3), then Jesus’ lifestyle of compassion and healing shows us what the Father’s heart is like.
Throughout the Gospels:
• “He healed all the sick.” — Matthew 8:16
• “Great crowds came… and he healed them.” — Matthew 15:30
• “Power was coming from him and healing them all.” — Luke 6:19
• “…healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.” — Acts 10:38
Jesus never turned away the sick. His compassion moved Him to action — and we are called to minister in that same power and compassion.
He also promised:
“They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” — Mark 16:18
STREET OUTREACH IN THE RAIN — AND GOD MOVED POWERFULLY
Despite the weather being against us, we headed out for an hour long outreach. Rain wasn’t a deterrent — it actually softened people’s hearts. Many were surprised to see believers praying for strangers in such weather.
And God moved.

1. Sciatica Completely Healed
One woman with severe sciatica — hip to foot — was healed after prayer. She walked back and forth testing it until she suddenly realised:
“All the pain is gone… completely gone!”

2. Word of Knowledge → Emotional Healing → Physical Healing
Another woman was spotted through a word of knowledge (“a woman in a grey jumper”). After prayer, some pain lifted but not all.
The team asked the Holy Spirit what was really going on, and discerned deep anxiety around work and providing for her family. She confirmed it instantly. After they led her to surrender that anxiety and trust God, she was completely healed of her back pain.

A Life Restored — A Powerful Salvation Testimony
One of the most impactful moments of the day came when a man shared that he had gone to church as a child but rejected God as he grew older. We stood in the doorway of a shop together getting dry. He shared how his life spiralled — destructive choices, regrets, divorces, and a deep sense of brokenness.
But recently, he’d started praying again. As the team ministered to him, he said:
“I feel like I’m ready to surrender my life to Jesus again.”
Right there on the street, he repented, came back to the Lord, and asked for forgiveness for his past. Tears, peace, and a fresh start — the Kingdom breaking in. Praise Jesus!
This is why we go!
3. The Team Transformed
Testimonies poured in:
“The teaching gave me confidence and was excellent.”
“Despite the rain I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
“We met a couple who were really interested, accepted prayer for migraines and wanted to take a bible with them..”
These workshops are not methods — they’re transformations.
